Par Grindvik - Drumcode / Spectral Sound [Sweden]
Par Grindvik has been a core person of Swedish electronic music since the nineties as well as record store owner, label manager and producer. He is a well established artist and after many years of touring all around Europe and releases on big name labels like Drumcode, he is now based in Berlin.
Enjoying life and inspired by memories and music from the past, combining them with the future of techno, Par is an artist that always aims to compose music that adds sparkle and curiosity to the scene. Doing this is also the goal of his record label Stockholm LTD.
Kate Simko (of Detalles) LIVE Traum / Kupei Musika [Chicago]
A classically trained pianist at the University level, Kate switched gears in her 20?s to make the music she loves most: house and techno.? Reflecting her diverse musical background, Kate's productions possess a unique harmonic, structural and spatial depth.
Kate?s first release was Detalles Shapes of Summer, released on Traum in 2003, which led to various performances in South America, including the 2004 Mutek Chile festival. Kate's subsequent projects include a remix for Philip Glass, solo and Detalles material on Kupei Musika and future solo material on Spectral Sound, Kupei and others.

Sassmouth NBFC / Volatl [Chicago]
Wake Up! resident Sassmouth was inspired to DJ in 2002. Her youth, filled with classical training on the viola and live performances as a member of string quartets and punk bands in her home region of the Eastern Washington wasteland, Spokane, prepared her musically for her new role as DJ. She has been fueling bars, lounges, house parties, and morning gatherings in Chicago with her mix of techno, house and electro ever since.
Lavamatic [Chicago]
Lavamatic (aka Jeffrey Weeter) is a composer and video artist who has worked extensively with choreographers, filmmakers, poets, playwrights and video and performance artists. Recent endeavors include the live video/music collaborations Fire and Ice, PowerPoint, Lavamatic and work with Virgil Moorefield and Mark Cartwright.
