Sonotheque & the Silver Room present a night featuring the heaviest, hardest hitting funk-styled beats to groove the dancefloor and shake your body. Funk has been a major musical mover influencing artists from the back alleys of Detroit, the shanty towns of Kingston, the late-night house parties in Chicago to the favelas of Rio, the discos in Frankfurt and the villages of Lagos.

Helming the wheels of steel are 2 of Chi-towns premier crate diggin', soul searchin' groove merchants; Joe Bryl (Sonotheque) and Eric Williams (Silver Room). These two master-blasters will take you on a musical journey into the far reaches of funk and all of its permutations including deep house, afrobeat, fusion, boogaloo, baile favela, hip hop, breakbeats, disco, go go, and reggae.
